Day 4 : Tapping into Your Unique Style
Using the “Sketch-Design-Repeat” Process
Welcome to Day Four!
In today’s lesson, I’m excited to share a technique that helps generate creative ideas and ensure a steady flow: the “Sketch-Design-Repeat” process. This exercise involves a blind contour drawing, followed by your interpretation and design ideas, repeated three times.
You’ll also get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at my Animal Character Design Masterclass! Click [here], where I show you the “sketch, design, repeat” process. And be sure to download the worksheet.
Today’s Task: Use the “Sketch-Design-Repeat” process to create a unique animal character. Follow along as I demonstrate the process in real-time with a bear character. Share your drawings with me on Instagram using #acdtask and #drawwithnina!
Join me tomorrow for our final lesson, where we’ll be adding colour!
